Here's what some folks are saying about our music:
"Bursting onto the Western Music scene ...... The Buckaroo Balladeers music has a wonderfully earthy sound which gains the attention of listeners from the very first note. Their songs fit solidly into what today's discerning Western Music fan is looking for, with more than a nod to their Cowboy roots. The Buckaroo Balladeers should be a very popular addition to the show and I expect we'll hear MUCH more from them in the future." Dixie McCorkell, host of the syndicated
“These Buckaroos are the real deal with a really entertaining show. The songs they sing takes you back to a time when Cowboys were king.” Ralph & Tamera Hampton-Ralph’s Back Porch Internet Radio Show-www.ralphsbackporch.com
We are seasoned performers with over 30 years in the entertainment business. Our "Self Titled" CD has enjoyed air play on Western Music stations across the U.S., Canada, Europe, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
We have shared the stage with many of Western Music’s Superstars such as Don Edwards, Dave Stamey, Michael Martin Murphy, Sons of the Pioneers, Riders In The Sky, Juni Fisher, Sons of the San Joaquin, R.W. Hampton, Suzy Boggess, The Bar J Wranglers and have opened for Country Music Superstars "The Bellamy Brothers" .
We are able to work with most entertainment budgets.
Thanks for taking a little bit of time out of your busy day to spend with our music. We hope you enjoy it and we’re looking forward to having the opportunity to perform at your next Western Music function.
J.C. & Sonja Needham-The Buckaroo Balladeers
Nashville Recording Duo, The Buckaroo Balladeers, cut their trails in the West Desert of Utah.... Their brand of Western Music and Cowboy Entertainment is as free and unbridled as the Wild Horses that they share that great land with. From up beat, wild and wooly Cowboy Songs, to deep and meaningful Western Ballads... The Buckaroo Balladeers are deeply rooted in the Cowboy lifestyle and live it every day. Many of the songs they perform are originals, written by them, which were inspired by their past experiences as a working cowboy, rodeo cowboy, ranch owners, horse lovers, bovine psychologist and human beings. Through their music, they will conjure up visions of ridin’ rank horses, ropin’ with 60 foot riatas, hot iron brandin’ and may even jerk at your heartstrings a bit. Their music is not only known across the U.S., but in Canada, Australia and throughout Europe, as well. They are proud members of the Western Music Association and The Academy of Western Artists.
Folks, we invite you to sit back...take a deep seat...and get ready to be entertained...
